This largley depends on the vehicle and the service you require for example, a mobile inspection on a car as apposed to bringing it into our workshop. Yes if you are selling a registered vehicle in qld (excluding trailers under 750kg atm) you are required to supply a current and unused safety / roadworthy certificate
Yes you are required to get a roadworthy/ safety certificae on all registered vehicles in qld ( excluding trailer with an atm under 750kg )
You have 14 days in which to rectify the issues that failed your inspection and represent the vehicle to be passed. After 14 days QLD transport delete the inspection from our system and a new inspection is required from scratch.
The Vehicle Inspection Guideline explains how a Safety Certificate Inspection is performed and the reasons a vehicle may fail an inspection. So guys and girls please note a Safety Certificate Inspection IS NOT a comprehensive mechanical inspection on the quality, or life expectancy of a vehicle. If you are buying a used vehicle, you are best off getting us to do a Pre Purchase Inspection to cover off more of the possible and future issues that may occur.
